ART for the HEART by Jeanne Rhea
Art for the Heart will focus on my experiments with different art techniques and materials. I paint primarily with alcohol inks on Claybord and sculpt with air dry, earth clays and polymer clay. I use found objects and salvaged materials for assemblages and collages. It is rare for me to miss a day crafting or making art.

Enjoy your time preparing your new home, it's exciting but a lot of hard work but if anyone can do it, you can! I love the second painting especially you posted, the colors and movement are so fun! You have such away with these ink paintings like no one else I've ever seen!
The colors you use are great!
Jeanne! Your work is just so amazing. I hope your move went smooth (can't remember if you have already moved or not) but I hope things are going well for you.
Thank you, Anna and Nina!
Jodi, It is interesting that you mentioned movement. I decided the easiest way to get movement in these paintings was to move the Claybord and make it happen!
Ophelia, Thanks. The move is not complete. We are doing most of the move this week-end. Then on to all the things we have to get changed---like phones, internet connections, addresses... The real work begins! I am painting right now and it is a lot of paint as the ceilings are high. But I just figure that means more wall space for paintings!
Jeanne, I love your paintings and jewelry.
