Art for the Heart will focus on my experiments with different art techniques and materials. I paint primarily with alcohol inks on Claybord and sculpt with air dry, earth clays and polymer clay. I use found objects and salvaged materials for assemblages and collages. It is rare for me to miss a day crafting or making art.

I'm loving the dark colors Jeanne!
Love the 70's hippy tye-dyed and rainbow colors you've used! Great work Jeanne!
Laurel, I am now using some darker colors in almost all of my work. It makes the even already bright colors even brighter! So the contrast is good.
Jodi, I am working in series now with limited colors. I can't wait to show my next batch of paintings. They are completely different for me, but I like them. Hippy tie-dyed colors are easier to work with using the alcohol inks as I can get some better effects with them. The muted colors or very dark colors do not pop without some brighter colors. So it is hard to get contrast unless some bright colors are used.
Thanks, Laurel and Jodi.
Jeanne, I really love your paintings!!
Thanks, Ophelia!
These are amazing. The colour are like candy mmmmmmmgood.
"Your colors Jeanne, are the colors I envision on travels in the universe that most attract us. They are on a vast scale in galaxies and on a micro-scale spectrum...You are enlightened and express your self in such wonder that we all will easily follow. In a world where so many are asleep to Love, you are one that exemplifies and qualifies us. Thank you for your contribution...Love Bill
Thank you, Bill. Your comments mean a lot. I have checked your blog often for it seems several years and have enjoyed your observations on art, life and nature. So hopefully, others will find it and will connect with it much as I have. http://ancient-mammoth.blogspot.com/
