My friend, Lisa, is giving away a
Calligraphy Pets Embroidered Towel in a drawing to someone who makes a comment on her
blog. I've seen the towels and they are wonderful. So if you have a dog, this is a good chance to get a special gift and make your dog happy.
While we are at it, (I know you don't come here to talk puppies, even if you love them.) I am giving away a wonderful ATC, ACEO made from polymer clay with my faux watercolor technique. The depth and colors in this one-of-kind ACEO are wonderful. You can even choose one of the four shown here. All you have to do is make a comment on this post. Be nice!
My husband will draw a name from those who sign the guestbook and you will be contacted for your address on August 31, 2007.

UPDATE: My husband drew two names for the ACEOs. The first winner is Beach Studio and the second winner is Lisa T. Please email me at
jrhea@nc.rr.com with your email. Beach Studio may pick one from the ACEOs above and Lisa, please pick a number one and a number two preference in case Beach Studio has already chosen the first that you want.
Thanks for playing! I'll be posting another giveaway every month. Hope you make it back to see what else will be given away.

quite silent here but the better for me :)
I love your atc:s although I would prefer this technique more on necklaces ;) You know me, all about wearables even though I am trying to convince you (and everyone else too) that I am not just stuck on making items that can make women looke more Xmastree :D
I'm making earrings and pendants with this technique. You will receive one from me! (I'll stay away from the candy colors for you.) ;)
oooo- pretty, I love the idea of using polymer clay on an ATC....I think i will try that...
I like you blog too..very awesome...
well... you already know i think they are gorgeous ;-) truth be told, were i to win, it would be hard to choose! great idea, though -- i would imagine you will get some lovely feedback on your beautiful work!

This are really unique and I love the vibrant colors! I can't wait to look around and see your other work. So glad you mentioned your blog at Embellished Circus!
Best wishes,
Melissa
These are way COOL...how do you do them?!? Oh and I want to see the earrings and pendants!!
These technique is awesome!!! so original...
Hi Jeanne, How have you been? I love your ATCs, I would love to see this tech used to make a pendant, It would be as awesome as the atcs if not more so as I am a wearable art type person. Ive not created much since my illness but am working towards getting back at my clay table more. Take care. I have really enjoyed your blog.

Jeanne, I just love the looks you get with the inks. My problem is that when I start dropping it on the cured clay I can't stop. Eventually its all muddy. I need to learn when to stop.

I'd like to add you to my blogroll. Beautiful work, I haven't ventured into inks yet(successfully) but these are pretty inspiring!
Wow, those a gorgeous! I've never seen that technique before. Thanks for the link leading to them!
Hi,
This is a very interesting way to incorporate a traditional art form into pc. I struggle with watercolor on paper because I like the bright vibrant colors that are hard to achieve with regular watercolors. Inks have both the vibrancy and transparancy that gives the effect I love, and that you have captured. I will definitely be trying this technique - first have to get some of the inks - thanks for the inspiration. Lynn Jones
I'm going to be showing my guild how to do polymer clay ATCs next weekend -- I'd love to win one of these & be able to show them another example. Great work!
HI Jeanne!
These are Lovely... You know I believe you are the Polymer Clay Queen! Gorgeously delicious!
all the best,
Linda
Dear Jeanne!
I absolutely LOVE this technique on your ATCs - I don't think I have ever seen it before. I would love to be put in the drawing and certainly hope I win - but I would love to learn more about your process if you are one to share. I am also an ATC artist.
Thanks!
Pam
Congratulations!
Beach Studio and Lisa T are the winners of the ATCs. Beach Studio you may choose one from the photos. I will then choose one for Lisa T. Please email me at jrhea@nc.rr.com with your email address.
Pam, Just a note to let you know that I am writing a tutorial on this technique to use on polymer clay. I have used it on several other surfaces, but polymer clay is so versatile as you can use all shapes and sizes. I have tried it on metal, Formica, Nevamar, Wilsonart laminates, Stampboard, plastics of all sorts and on a gloss and semi-gloss paper. There is something about the polymer clay that gives the most different effects. I'll post some pics of some of technique on some other materials.
