Making Art from Children's Early Artwork

I have taken the images in the previous post and have transferred the images to polymer clay. Each image is about 1" x 1 1/2".

I think the necklace is finished. I used some old pieces of my son's colored pencils to string between the drawings. I used brightly painted wooden beads as they reminded me of children's colors and they went well with the colored pencils. Findings and chain are sterling silver.

Thank you! I enjoyed making it and will enjoy looking at it for years---I'm sure.

I love this concept. I've considered doing this so many times but just never did. I'd love to make a bracelet out of a book my son made for my for Mother's Day, but I haven't tried it yet. I did make a skirt out of it, though. Nice job on your jewelry!

Love the skirt! I just noticed that there is a link in the message. I think it is wonderful the way it is and I love his artwork. No Hallmark card could say so much!

Thanks for writing.
